Event Management System

As part of my internal UX role, I designed an Event management system to simplify the way teams plan, manage, and track internal events across departments. Our goal was to design a centralized intuitive platform that supported scheduling communication and real time updates across teams.

Goals

The goal was to streamline event planning into one flexible system that works for both small meetings and large events.

Centralized Event Management

Designed a unified platform that brings all types of events team meetings, workshops, and conferences into one accessible system.

Reference Vs Reality

We started with wireframes from a previous system (Stage 1)

What Worked

Basic layout for events and tasks

Concept of filters and statuses

What Was Missing

No hierarchy, visual clarity, or flow

No support for event types or scale

No feedback or error states

High Fidelity Experience

We refined and rebuilt the UI from scratch

Key Updates

Role clarity through tags & badges

High contrast task states

Inline error fixes with gentle cues

“Create Once” event template

Post - event summary screens

Reflection

This project wasn’t about flashy design. It was about clearing the clutter from a process that had become stressful and messy. We weren’t just building a tool, we were restoring clarity. From vague wireframes, we shaped something real, usable and reliable. It reminded me that internal systems deserve just as much empathy and attention as public facing products because the people using them everyday deserve better

Psst! Are you on your phone?

This screen’s a bit too tiny for the full story.

Why can’t I see the full case study?!

Because your phone is too smol.
